Our story

Tomas Kacera grew up sweeping sawdust in his grandfather’s cabinet shop on Chicago’s Northwest Side. He has spent 35 years shaping wood into story.

A decade restoring millwork in Prairie School and Gold Coast homes taught him a simple standard: build it to outlast the house. In 2008 he founded Kacera to bring that rigor to furniture and cabinetry across the Midwest.
